Everyone wants to look beautiful.
Society might be the creator of the notion of looking attractive and desirable enough to catch a man, but there’s nothing wrong in wanting silky and smooth skin on your face. The key is often choosing the right face cream. However, instead of wasting your money on unnecessary chemical products, how about making your own face cream?
#1. Aloe Vera Face Cream
Step 1: In a double boiler, combine your oils and beeswax.Place a heat-safe glass bowl on top of a saucepan filled with 2 inches (5.08 centimeters) of water. 12 cup (108 g) coconut oil, 2 tablespoons (30 mL) jojoba oil, and 112 tablespoons (21.32 g) beeswax pellets
For the time being, hold off on the aloe vera and essential oil.
Step 2: Melt the oils and beeswax together. Increase the heat to medium and allow the water to come to a boil. Allow the oils and beeswax to melt together, stirring occasionally. You’ll know they’re ready when they turn liquid and translucent.
Step 3: Pour the mixture into a blender and set aside for 1 to 112 hours to cool. Check to see if your blender can withstand heat (ie: glass). Allow the mixture to cool before scraping it into the blender with a spatula if your blender is plastic.
If you don’t have a blender, a food processor will suffice.
Step 4: Blend the mixture while gradually incorporating the aloe vera gel. Set the blender to the lowest speed. While it’s spinning, slowly pour in 1 cup (236.5 grams) of aloe vera gel. Stop the blender from time to time and scrape down the sides with a rubber spatula.
Make use of natural aloe vera gel. Use aloe vera juice or homemade gel instead.
Step 5: Add 5–8 drops essential oil. It’s not compulsory to do this, but it will add a nice fragrance to the cream. You may also benefit your skin if you use the right essential oil. As an example:
- Lavender, lemongrass, peppermint, rosemary and palmarosa for acne or oily skin
- Lavender, rose, rose geranium and palmarosa for dry or aging skin
- Rose, rose geranium for normal skin
- Palmarosa and chamomile are suitable for all skin types.
Step 6: Combine all of the ingredients and transfer them to clean glass jars. Blend or whip the mixture by hand until it is light and fluffy. Transfer it to several small glass jars with a rubber spatula. 14 or 12-ounce (60 or 120-milliliter) jars would suffice.
Place the jars in the refrigerator. You can keep one of them in your bathroom, but the rest should be kept in the fridge to last longer. Within 3 to 4 months, apply the cream in the morning and evening.
#2. Almond Oil Face Cream
Step 1: In a heat-safe jar or measuring cup, combine the first four ingredients. 14 cup (60 milliliters) almond oil, 2 tablespoons (28.35 grams) coconut oil, 2 tablespoons (28.24 grams) beeswax pellets, and 1 tablespoon (13.63 grams) shea butter are required. Hold off on the vitamin E and essential oils for the time being.
Step 2: In a pot, bring some water to a boil. Fill a pot with water to a depth of 3 to 4 inches (7.62 to 10.16 centimeters). Turn on the stove and bring the water to a simmer.
Step 3: Put the jar in the water and allow the contents to melt. Set the jar into which you just added the oils, beeswax, and shea butter into the pot. Allow the jar to sit in the pot until everything has melted, stirring occasionally. Nothing should be placed on top of the pot or the jar.
Step 4: Remove the jar from the water and fill it with vitamin E oil. Remove the jar from the water using a pot holder or an oven mitt. Place it on a heat-safe surface. Allow it to cool for a few moments before stirring in 12 teaspoon vitamin E oil oil.
Vitamin E oil in a bottle is easier to measure out, but capsules can be used as well; simply pierce the capsules first.
Step 5: Consider incorporating 2 to 3 drops of essential oil. You can use any essential oil you want. Begin with 2 to 3 drops and add more as needed. The essential oil will add a pleasant scent to your face cream.
Step 6: Transfer the mixture to a clean jar and set it aside to cool and harden. Fill a 4-ounce (120-milliliter) glass jar with cream, preferably one with a wide mouth. Allow the cream to harden and cool at room temperature.
Step 7: Close the jar and store it somewhere cool and dry. This cream is suitable for use both in the evenings and in the mornings. It will last approximately three months.
